During four years of my college life, I have learned some courses about math as well as computer. Besides, I have taught myself two courses those are fundamentals of compiling and operating system. So maybe I am a half cross-disciplined student.
When I was a freshman, I was not content with my specialty and the courses I was learning. So I was very confused. But when I would finish my school, I realized that what I had learned was not enough for my target. I’m eager for furthering study and raising my professional level.
I appreciate the education my university gave me, including the academic knowledge and moral education but I am looking forward to the study and living more intensely in University of Science and Technology of China that I have heard of the precise style of study long time ago. I am sure USTC can provide us with the best academic atmosphere.
I’m confident to say that I am an honest, responsible and energetic person. What’s more, I am easy-going that counts very much in the research for the post-graduate students.
In a word,USTC is one of schools which I most like and so many excellent teachers and professors form the strong scientific research power. If I were given a chance to study in this famous university, I promise I'll try my best to study as much as I could.
1.大學課程
I have learned some courses about math. For example, mathematical analysis, advanced algebra, complex variables functions, discrete mathematics, analytic geometry, and ordinary differential equations. I have learned some courses about computer as well. For example, c language, data structure, computer database, machine vision.
2.參加活動
I have participated the English Speech Contest of department and university, and got champion of our department contest but got nothing in the interscholastic contest. And I have participated the English Play Contest once. It's a pity we haven’t any chance to work for the subjects.
About two years learning of math is very important for me. As we know “math is the mother of sciences”. Much arithmetic is abstract from math. Although my math grades are just so so, yet it cultivates my logical thought. I think on the math base I can learn some computer courses with ease. And I know USTC is always attaching importance to the math learning of students.

It is a shame .First, I am so confident so I didn’t pay much attention to the review of math. Besides, to make up the shortage of computer courses, I spent too much time on the computer courses.
