最近看到很多人在網上問如何學英語，雖然不知道他們是出于什么目的去學的，但能感覺到他們的迫切心情。并且在我的日常工作中，也確實體會到了英語的重要性。也有很多人會回答什么“多聽多讀多說”一類的廢話，我明白在英語方面0經驗的人面臨的困境。所以在這里，我很高興跟大家分享一下自己的經驗，希望可以幫到有興趣自學英語的人。
先自我介紹一下，我目前是一個外企的新員工，目前做一些文職，偶爾也會幫翻譯部做一些事情。學歷本科，專業是信息管理。
雖然是本科畢業，但英語方面，我基本全靠自學。我上學的時候英語是初中開始學的，在我的印象里，我初一時的英語老師很討人嫌，所以就不喜歡這門課，以為基礎沒打好，整個初中的英語都沒有及格過。快到中招考試的時候，就有些急了。那時也不知道該怎么辦，所幸的是碰上一個好老師，她說先把單詞背背。我想她那時也沒有想到這句話對我的影響有多么大。然后我就開始背單詞，找到整個初中的英語書，不看課本，忽略音標，語法和句型，只背單詞。記得最開始時候只背了一個單元的單詞，沒有人教，也不知道怎么讀，就一個單詞對一個漢語單詞，就這么死記硬背，一遍一遍不停地背。9個單詞花了一個星期的時間才背完。
首先先你要端正心態，不要急躁，，你做你自己的事，這樣才能靜下心來學習。要成為英語高手就必須比別人走更多的路，做更多的事。你應該明白一個事實，英語是單詞和語法的綜合，所以單詞和語法都要拿下。
其次，對于單詞，有如下幾種方法，第一個，是加強記憶的頻度，也就是說，早上記了幾個，隔幾個小時又看一次，總之一天之內，記憶的間隔不要太長，否則你辛苦積累的記憶會隨著時間的延長而淡化，第二個，是可以根據自己的理解編順口溜，比如good morning 是狗摸你…（見笑了）…，第三個，最重要的是，記單詞的時候，不要忘了閱讀，一邊記單詞，一邊看文章，這樣可以把孤立的單詞串聯起來，記憶的效果會加倍，第四個。我建議你記單詞要分門別類記憶，要形成一個意群，比如，重要性用magnitude magnificence ，表示非常，大大地有exceedingly，tremendously，extremely……這樣做在你寫作時，是十分有好處的，寫作時不要盡寫一些低級詞匯，你要寫高級詞匯，比如重要性寫magnitude，許多寫a multitude of 或者handsome。
再次，是語法。學習語法，首先要明白什么是主謂賓定狀補，什么是系動詞，什么是直接賓語，間接賓語，這些是學習語法的基礎，語法是房子，主謂賓定狀補等是沙石磚瓦。
